Social media are considered a staple part of every teenage diet, but are young people now turning their backs on the likes of Facebook and Instagram?
Studies have indicated this could be the case: according to Time, more than 11 million young people have fled Facebook since 2011 – with many of those being escaping teens. There’s also theories that these young people are moving off these platforms, and onto messaging apps such as Whatsapp and Snapchat. In fact a recent study found that Snapchat is considered the most important social network.
