A 23-year-old woman has died on a Spanish island while holidaying with her sister.
Named locally as Amy Elizabeth Connor from Coleraine, Co Derry, she had been on Ibiza when tragedy stuck on Thursday.
Spanish police investigating the sudden death said Ms Connor's body was found around midday in her room in the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in the party resort of San Antonio.
It is believed her sister raised the alarm and police later confirmed the death but said they were unable to comment further.
An autopsy was due to take place but police stated initial reports stated Ms Connor had exhibited no signs of having been subjected any violence.
A Civil Guard source said: “There were no external signs of violence on the dead woman’s body or signs of any violence at the scene.”
Ms Connor was on a break with a group of holidaymakers, including her sister.
A family notice for Ms Connor said she leaves her daughter Kaliyah, parents Arthur Connor and Carol McKibbin and siblings, Aaron John, Jean and Toni.
