A young mum who died after falling ill on a Shetland beach has praised for her amazing work for charity.
Aylesha Meades was on St Ninian’s beach, near Lerwick and died in hospital in the early hours of Sunday.
The 25-year-old worked for Who Cares? Scotland where she supported children and young people who have been in the care system.
Relatives and friends of the young mum-of-one’s have paid tribute to her as they struggle to come to terms with the sudden loss, the Daily Record reports.
Mikey Wiseman wrote: “Thank you for all the condolences. I keep feeling like I’m gonna wake up. No one should have to lose a child. Am absolutely gutted. Life is so unfair.”
Friedn Laura Shannon wrote: “I have no words. Absolutely gutted. Only on Friday we were speaking together saying we needed to catch up soon. And we never got that chance.
“My heart goes out to your family and closest friends. Aylesha, you left such a big print on this world with all the amazing work you did. Taken too soon. Love you always xx.”
Lauren Brown added: “Aylesha, words cannot describe the feeling I have just now.

“Memories of us from years ago keep playing in my head of all the stuff we used to get up too (good and bad). These are the memories I’ll cherish forever.
“Some of my best childhood/teenage memories are shared with you.
“We may not have been ‘joint at the hip’ or as close as we once were, but that doesn’t mean a piece of my heart hasn’t gone with you up to heaven.
“Another young life taken far too soon.”
And Shannon Williamson posted: “I only met Aylesha a couple of times so I don’t share a lot of memories but she always supported me whether it was online or not.
“She always showed her support and she was so kind hearted and funny.
“She was going to be on my podcast before I had to postpone it, we spoke a little bit about what she was going to talk about.

“I’m sorry you never got to tell your story the way you wanted to but you raised so much awareness for kids in care and information for people who weren’t educated on that topic.
“Losing a young person in Shetland is always devastating and you truly will be missed.”
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the tragic mum’s death.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We were made aware of the sudden death of a 25-year-old woman around 6.40am on Sunday, 11 July, on Shetland.
"The woman had taken unwell at St Ninian's beach and was pronounced dead at hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
