A young man has tragically died after taking unwell at Tesco in Kilmarnock.
The 23-year-old became seriously ill at the West Shaw Street store and was rushed to Crosshouse Hospital where he died.
Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, which took place on Tuesday, June 9.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police were called around 11.45am on Tuesday, June 9, following the sudden death of a 23-year-old man at Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock, after taking unwell at a supermarket in West Shaw Street.
"There are no suspicious circumstances."
Tesco have been contacted for comment.
