A man was rushed to hospital after a horror stabbing in Co Tyrone last night.
The incident happened in the Killyman Road area of Dungannon at around 11pm on Saturday.
Officers received a report that a man in his 20s had been stabbed, Belfast Live reports.
The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital where he remains at this time.
A 47-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in police custody where he is helping officers with their enquiries.

Police say they are keen to establish what went on during the incident and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them.
Detective Sergeant Robinson said: "An investigation is underway to establish exactly what occurred and who was involved. I would appeal to anyone who was in the area shortly before 11pm and witnessed what occurred or, who may have recorded what occurred, to get in touch with us on 101, quoting reference 2258 of 22/05/21."
