Young man robbed at knifepoint in Cardiff for Apple ear pods

A man was robbed at knifepoint for his Apple ear pods near Cardiff student accommodation.

South Wales Police are investigating the crime which happened shortly after 1am on Tuesday near Maindy Road.

A force spokesman said: "A 20-year-old man was approached and threatened by two unknown males who made off with a set of Apple ear pods."

The knifepoint robbery happened in an alleyway close to the Cambrian Point flats, which provide accommodation for 632 students.

"The matter remains under investigation," added the police spokesman. "Anyone with any information which may assist officers in their investigation is asked to contact South Wales Police and quote reference 2100418380."
