A young man has been found dead at a house in Bolton.
Police were called to a report of concern for the welfare of a man at the property, in Halliwell Road, at about 8.43am this morning (Saturday, December 5).
Emergency services attended and discovered the body of a man believed to be in his 20s.
There are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstances, say GMP.
Enquiries into the man's death are ongoing.
An eyewitness reported seeing three police vehicles and an ambulance parked outside a row of terraced houses, near to St Paul's Church.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called to a report of concern for the welfare of a man at a property on Halliwell Road, Bolton at around 8.43am on Saturday 5 December 2020.
"Emergency services attended and sadly discovered the body of a man believed to be in his 20s.
"Enquiries into the man's death are ongoing.
"There are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstances."
