A young man was rushed to hospital on Tuesday evening after a serious crash in Co Tipperary.
The man aged in his 20s was involved in a two car collision on the Nenagh to Thurles Road.
The young man was taken to University Hospital Limerick by ambulance although his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The crash took place at approximately 5pm as rush hour traffic commenced.
The female driver of the other vehicle was uninjured after the crash.
Major traffic delays were experienced after the incident but the road soon reopened.

A large emergency services presence arrived at the scene to deal with the crash with fire brigades, ambulances and gardai directing the traffic.
Marie Healy who got stuck behind the incident told the Irish Mirror: “Huge emergency service presence. Fire brigade, at least 2 that I can see. Lots of Gardai.
“Traffic got diverted towards Toomevara and it’s totally backed up."
A garda spokesperson said: "Two car collision on the R498 Nenagh to Thurles Road at approximately 5pm this evening.
"Male driver, 20s, taken by ambulance to UHL, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
"Female driver of second car uninjured. The road was closed for a short time but has since reopened to traffic. Gardaí in Nenagh investigating."
