A three-way collision in Cork city centre involving a Garda van and a parked bus led to one man in his 20s being hospitalized.
The collision took place on Sunday night at a crossroads on the Southern Road in Cork city, and is now being investigated by gardai.
The man was brought to Cork University Hospital, and although the full extent of his injuries is unknown, a Garda spokesperson described them as ‘non-life-threatening’, Cork Beo reports .
The Garda van involved was towed away from the scene following the incident.
Several personnel and vehicles from the Fire Brigade were present as well as Gardai.

A Gardai spokesperson said, "Gardaí are investigating a three vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on Southern Road, Co. Cork, yesterday evening 28 th November 2021. The collision involved an official Garda vehicle, a car and a parked bus."
"The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, was taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
"No other injuries have been reported. Enquiries are ongoing," they added.
