A niece who has looked after her family through health issues has been thanked by her loving family.
Chloe Campbell was nominated for our Say it With Flowers competition by her aunt Tracy Campbell.
Mother of James, six, and Luca, three, Chloe spends time caring for her Gran as she battles her cancer diagnosis and treatment.
She has also taken on the role of caring for her Papa, David, as his carer, due to him spending five weeks in hospital with COVID complications .
Tracy told Lanarkshire Live : “Chloe does everything, from making meals, to doing the shopping, and even lifting my dad from his bed as he has limited movement and power because of COVID.
“She also shaves him, takes him to the toilet, washes him, massages and moisturises his legs.
“On top of all this, she also makes sure he is doing his physio to build his strength and get back on his feet.
“She basically makes sure he has all he needs every minute of every day as we aren’t able to get help with carers until he has been assessed, and that can take a few weeks.”
As well as caring for her papa, she has also been caring for her Gran, Jennifer.
Her Gran has been battling cancer and Chloe has been there to make sure she gets the support she needs.
“Chloe makes sure she has meals ready for her and helps her with daily things around the home," Jennifer added.
“She does all this on top of looking after her own two kids.
“She is a superstar and is always caring for her family members.”
When Tracy contacted us with Chloe's nomination for the Say it With Flowers competition, we were only happy to help out.
We delivered this stunning bouquet to Chloe at her Newmains home, thanks to our friends Pixies Petals in Newmains.
