A man was 'thrown into the path of an oncoming tram' during a terrifying assault outside the Printworks .
21-year-old Adam had just finished watching The Lion King with his girlfriend when he was attacked in broad daylight.
As he was leaving The Printworks shortly after 7pm on Saturday, Adam said he felt someone try to take off his Gucci hat.
He claimed that as he turned around, several 'youths' started punching him before attempting to throw him in front of a tram.
Adam had to be taken to hospital where he received an X-ray and was informed he had soft tissue damage.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News , Adam's dad, Andy, said his son has been left both 'mentally' and 'physically' bruised following the incident.
His family are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and try and catch those responsible.
"I got a call about 7pm from my son who I knew had been to watch the Lion King with his girlfriend," Andy said.
"He came out the Printworks and the next thing he felt someone try to take his Gucci hat off.
"As he turned around a load of youths started punching him and kicking him and tried to throw him in front of a tram.
"Not one person stopped to help him - what a society we live in."
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.40pm on July 20 to reports that a 21-year-old male was robbed and assaulted at the Printworks."
