Young Irishman, 22, tragically dies after being hit by a car on night out in Marbella, Spain

A young Dublin man has tragically died after being hit by a car while on a night out in Marbella.

It is understood the 22-year-old, who is originally from Rathfarnham, was in the Costa Del Sol with friends when the tragedy struck on Monday.

A second young man had his leg broken during the devastating incident.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is aware of the tragedy.

A spokesman said: “We are aware of the case and are providing consular assistance.”
