Young, 'inexperienced' driver flips car after smashing into tree

A young driver escaped injury after his car smashed into a tree and flipped over.

Wilmslow Fire Station tweeted to say that firefighters had attended the scene of a road traffic collision in the area on Friday night (July 30).

A spokesperson for Wilmslow Fire Station tweeted to say the incident involved a combination of 'young, inexperienced [driver] and wet weather conditions' causing the car to flip on its side.

Pictures released by the emergency service shows a red car on its side, with damage to its windscreen and one of its tyres down the road after coming off in the accident.

Firefighters said the driver was 'OK' after being checked over by paramedics.

A spokesperson for Wilmslow Fire Station said: "On call firefighters attended an RTC involving one vehicle and a tree last night, a combo of young, inexperienced and wet weather conditions caused this vehicle to end up on its side.

"Luckily the driver was okay after being checked over by paramedics."
