Young girl 'attacked by creepy stalker on bike' in quiet Bray estate

An appeal has been launched by frightened residents after a young girl was allegedly attacked by a creepy stalker in a quiet estate.

The incident happened when a 13-year-old girl was spotted by a man on a bike in the main street area of Bray.

The defenceless young girl was then attacked by the lurker in the Sidmonton Road area, Dublin Live reports.

And a concerned friend of the mother of the victim, has taken to a local forum on Facebook to desperately appeal for anyone who spotted the incident.

The post read: "My friends 13-year-old daughter was as assaulted today at approximately 12:50 beside the Sidmonton Park.

"If anyone in the area has CCTV please let me know.

"Description of man: 25-35 years old, cyclist on bike that stopped. Followed girl from town directed towards Sidmonton Park.

"Wearing cycling gear, yellow jacket with light coloured stripe, black cycling leggings, black sunglasses, black/dark grey cycling helmet, grey/light colored bike. Light colour skin on face with strong red tone in cheeks.

"Please help identify this man... following and targeting young girls."

A number of helpful locals did comment that some establishments in the area, including nursing homes, carry good CCTV which could assist in catching the blood-curdling attacker.

An Garda Siochana have been contacted for comment about the incident.
