Young Franco Is Throwing A Free Gig This Weekend To Kick Off The AO In Style

If you’re a major tennis fan who froths a crunchy tune, you’re in luck! ‘Cos Young Franco is hopping on the decks at the Canadian Club Racquet Club (AKA CCRC) to kick off the Australian Open. The best part? It’s a free party!

Yep, that’s right. To kick off the tennis season — or what I like to call, IRL Challengers — Canadian Club, the official Dark Spirits Partner of the Australian Open, will be hosting a free party at the CCRC this Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Alongside Young Franco — who’s bound to play some crowd faves like “Juice”, “Lose Control” and “Wake Up” — indie dance duo Nite Theory and athlete-turned-DJ Alex Hayes will be there to deliver the dynamic tunes that’ll surely get ya pumped up for the tennis.

Peep down below for the full details!

The party is kicking off this Sunday, January 18, with doors opening at 4pm.

It’s all going down at the Canadian Club Racquet Club, AO Hilltop, Birrarung Marr.

Jake Webb will kick off his set as the doors open at 4pm. Nite Theory will then jump on at 5pm, followed by Alex Hayes at 6.15pm. Young Franco will then wrangle the tunes at 8pm, with Nite Theory closing off the night at 9.30pm.

Tickets are completely free! However, you do need to register, so snap them up now via Moshtix before you miss out.

For anyone not heading to the AO grounds this year, the Canadian Club Racquet Club is the official hangout spot for non-ticketed members to catch all the action. It starts January 18 and runs till February 1, from 12pm daily.

The big tennis moments to watch this year? Reining champions Madison Keys (No. 7) and Jannik Sinner (No. 2) will be coming to defend their titles, while Aussie Alex de Minaur (No. 10) will hopefully be the one to go the distance. Fellow Aussies Alexei Popyrin (No. 49) and Thanasi Kokkinakis (No. 171) will also be playing in the singles, with 19-year-old Maya Joint (No. 30) Australia’s best hope in the women’s singles.

LFG!
