A young mum with a new born baby faces being homeless this Christmas after a devastating fire ripped through her home.
Now a fundraising drive has been set up for key worker Shauvvone Johnstone, 27.
The devastated mum raced home yesterday morning after calls from neighbours saying her home in Mallard Crescent in Greenhills had went up in flames just weeks before Christmas.
The fire broke out after 11am and, thankfully, Shauvvone and her three three children weren't in the private let at the time.
It is believed the fire started after an electrical fault with a bottle steriliser.
But doubt over the insurance of the landlord in regards to alternative accommodation has made it an even more worrying time for the young family - although the mum said her landlord, like the rest of the local community, has done everything they can to help.

The community have rallied round with the gofundme page, set up by friend Jane Stewart, which has raised over £500 so far.
Heartbroken Shauvvone, who works on Hairmyres Hospital's switchboard, told Lanarkshire Live: "We only moved in to the house in January and were looking forward to our first Christmas in our new home.
"My youngest is only six-weeks-old. Everything inside the house is gone, it's a write-off. All the baby stuff, presents I had bought for the children. Now I don't know where we are going to go.
"We are staying with a family member for now.
"It's a nightmare.
"Although there is uncertainty over alternative accommodation in the insurance policy that's not the landlord's fault, I can't fault her. She has been fantastic, rallying round and getting essential items and sharing the gofundmepage page.
"I don't think it's sunk in - it's like a bad dream. You hear about things like this happening, especially before Christmas, but you never think it will happen to you."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were alerted at 11.52am on Thursday, November 18, to reports of a fire affecting a two-storey dwelling in Mallard Crescent, Greenhills, East Kilbride.
“Operations control immediately mobilised two fire engines to the scene and firefighters extinguished the fire.
"There were no casualties and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
