Young parents with a newborn baby girl have lost all their possessions in a devastating house fire just weeks before Christmas.
Mum Sophie Duffy, dad Daniel Taylor and their months-old baby Ruby weren't injured in the blaze, but they have "totally lost everything".
All of their clothes and their baby's belongings were among the possessions that were destroyed when the home in Whitburn, West Lothian, was gutted by flames on Saturday, the Daily Record reports.
Sophie wrote in a heartbreaking Facebook post: "Due to Daniel Taylor and I's house going on fire we have totally lost everything.
"All our clothes and all our baby daughter's belongings.
"If anyone known anyone who has anything that could help us out, we would be forever grateful."
Daniel's sister-in-law, Kelly Taylor has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help the family.
She wrote: "My brother-in-law, Daniel, his partner, Sophie and my baby niece, Ruby lost their home and all their belongings after their home went on fire on Saturday, November 23.
"They have literally lost everything. They have no clothes, no baby stuff or anything left at all.
"I am fundraising to support them to rebuild and replace all their belongings.
"We would appreciate any donations that you can spare to help."
So far, more than £2,000 has been raised.
One supporter wrote on the page: "What an awful tragic thing to happen, I am so sorry."
A second posted: "Terrible thing to happen, especially at this time of the year.
"Glad you’re all safe, hope you're back on your feet soon."
A third added: "So sad that this family lost their home.
"As we have a baby girl ourselves I know how expensive things can be.
"So close to Christmas too.
"I wish this family all the best and hope they can still enjoy Christmas with their beautiful baby."
