A young Dublin man who tragically died in Spain after being hit by a car has been named locally as Josh Begley-Taylor.
The victim, in his early 20s, was out with friends in Marbella when the horrific accident took place.
It is understood that he died in the early hours of Monday morning and that one other friend was badly injured, The Irish Times reports today.
Tragic Josh, a graduate of a school in Rathmines, had posted a video on Instagram just hours before his untimely death which showed him and friends taking a horse-drawn tour around the Costa del Sol resort.
Marbella Police have not commented on the horrific incident yet but the Department of Foreign Affairs did release a statement.
They said: "We are aware of the death and are providing consular assistance."
