The devastated pals of a man killed after being hit by a car on a Scots motorway say their life will never be the same again.
Stuart Michael, 29, from Falkirk was struck by the vehicle on the M876 in the town at around 12:20am on Wednesday August, 4.
The young dad was rushed to Forth Valley Royal Hospital by medics, but sadly he couldn't be saved and died a short time later.
The motorway was closed at J2 Larbert for around nine hours while a major probe into the accident was underway.

Another wrote: "Rip brother can’t believe what I've heard this morning absolute gutted thinking of your family in this sad time gbnf."

A fourth person said: "Absolutely heartbroken for my sister's boyfriend and all his family. Always at the wind up so he was. Rest in peace Stuart."
A fifth posted: "I was just speaking to him the other day, I actually cannae believe this. What a s**** world we live in."
A Police Scotland spokesperson told Falkirk Live: "We received report of a male pedestrian being struck by a car on the M876 at junction 2 near Larbert around 12.20am on Wednesday, 4 August, 2021.
"Emergency services attended and the 29-year-old man was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital, where he died a short time later.
"The M876 was closed southbound at junction 2, but has since re-opened.
"Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
