A young couple who bought a derelict bungalow have spent lockdown transforming it into their dream home.
Kate and Paul, who were 22 years old at the time, bought a 1930s bungalow together in February after four years of saving.
Earlier this month, the couple showed their more than 100,000 followers on Tik Tok and Instagram how they had transformed their home ready for Christmas.
On one post Kate wrote : "So happy with how this has turned out. The bungalow is really starting to feel homely now!
"I can’t believe how long we suffered the dusty duvet cover up at the backdoor.

"This looks exactly how we imagined, so the hours I have spent researching fabrics and different tracks and tapes have paid off - look at that slim ceiling track.
"Made bespoke, and supplied and fitted by a local company."
When the couple moved in, the bungalow had been empty for four years.

It had dated green carpets and artex ceilings, according to the Sun.
But now they have parquet wooden floorboards which run through the whole house.
A stylish black mantelpiece surrounds a fire and new tan leather sofas are placed in the living room.

The couple thanked their followers for supporting their renovation journey.
They said: "Despite everything that’s happened this year, it feels amazing for us to now be enjoying ourselves in our first home together.
"Here’s hoping for a better 2021 for us all, and hopefully you’ll stay with us to watch our garden transformation."
