Young Celtic fan missing as family issue plea for help

The worried family of a young Celtic fan have launched a desperate appeal to track him down.

Edward Neil Coakley, nicknamed Junior, was reported missing to Police Scotland yesterday after his family became concerned about his whereabouts.

The 21-year-old Motherwell man's aunt Louise Gardner said her nephew's grey Audi A3, registration EC06 JNR, was last seen in Cumbria at 1pm yesterday.

Louise took to Facebook to appeal for help.

She wrote: "This is My nephew Edward Neil Coakley, nickname Junior.

"His car was last seen Thursday October 3 in Cumbria area at 1pm.

"Grey Audi A3 reg is EC06 JNR.

"Edward is not in a good place the now and we would appreciate any help in finding him safely and bringing him home.

"Please share this."

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed Edward had been reported missing to them yesterday and they were investigating his dissapearance.
