Two young boys who went missing after being dropped at school in Midlothian have been traced.
Michael and James (Jamie) O’Brien , aged 9 and 6 respectively, vanished from Carnethie Street in Rosewell around 8am this morning.
Police search teams, including dog units, were looking for the youngsters after they failed to enter the school .
But now officers have confirmed they have been found safe and well.
A Police Scotland statement read: "We would like to thank members of the public and our partners who shared information and assisted us with inquiries."
