A young boy has made a miracle recovery by waking up from a coma and is now talking to his family for the first time in two weeks.
Alex Hook is just six-years-old but he found himself in intensive care after a tragic accident in which he was hit in the head by a piece of steel that flew off a lawnmower.
He fell into a coma and was been cared for at a children's hospital, but now he's woken up and has amazed doctors by being able to speak.
Now his family have spoken of their relief, saying how they never expected to hear little Alex talk again.

Alex's aunt, Michelle Koertgen, 55, was on the phone with her sister, 49-year-old Caryn, when the young boy woke up.
She said: "We're certainly relieved, we're elated he can speak and recognises us and having conversation.
"He started crying - it was wonderful because we didn't know if we'd ever hear that again.
"It was terrible that he was crying but also wonderful.
"I started crying and my sister I think she dropped the phone in the chair, I was listening to her talk to him.
"I think she sat on the phone and disconnected me!"

Alex fell into a coma when he was playing outside school and a nearby lawnmower ran over a piece of metal and it flew into the air.
It then struck first-grader Alex, who was bending down at the time, in the back of his head, and he was rushed to a Children's Hospital of Milwaukee.
