A 25-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after colliding with the central reservation on the M621.
The incident happened at 3.54am today on the eastbound carriageway of the M621 near to junction 27.
A Hyosung motorbike was travelling on the eastbound carriageway of the M62 and exited at junction 27 to join to the M621 towards Leeds.
The rider was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The road was closed at junction 27 while enquiries continue, but has since reopened.
