'You wonder' - pundit's worrying message to Nottingham Forest ahead of Sheffield Wednesday clash

Former Nottingham Forest midfielder David Prutton has questioned where the Reds’ goals will be coming from ahead of their clash with Sheffield Wednesday.

The Reds are on a three-game winless run and have one victory in their last five games.

That win came away to Queens Park Rangers – a thumping 4-0 victory – but just three goals have been scored in the other four games.

Sabri Lamouchi’s men are still firmly in play-off contention, but draws against Middlesbrough and Millwall, and a defeat to Cardiff City, have dented those aspirations.

Victory for Sheffield Wednesday at the City Ground tomorrow (Saturday) would see the Owls move above Forest in the table.

Lewis Grabban is streets ahead in the Reds’ scoring charts in the Championship with 10 goals. Joe Lolley is next on three goals.

“Nottingham Forest just don't seem to have enough goals in their side,” Prutton told Sky Sports. “When Lewis Grabban isn't firing you wonder where they're going to come from, and they should have put Middlesbrough away in midweek.

“Sheffield Wednesday are ticking along under Garry Monk and should really have beaten Derby in midweek.

“He would probably take another draw at Forest, though.”

Prutton predicts: 1-1
