You won't see a better free-kick than this stunner at the Foyle Cup

What. A. Hit.

You will see some cracking goals at this summer's Foyle Cup, but you will do well to find a better one than this.

Oran O'Kane was the player celebrating after sending an absolute rocket of a free-kick into the top corner of the net. To add some gloss to the finish, it went in off the stanchion.

The Tamnaherin Celtic Under 19 player tried his luck from distance. The free-kick appears to be well outside the penalty box.

But with his wand of a left foot, Oran drills his shot into the net. The Strathroy Harps goalkeeper helpless as he watches the ball fly past him.

Unfortunately for defender Oran and Tamnaherin, they came out the wrong side of a seven-goal thriller, losing 4-3 at Prehen pitches.

But the goal will stand the test of time. It has already been viewed over 50,000 times on the Foyle Cup's Facebook page.

The Foyle Cup has been running all week and features more than 450 teams across different ages. It is the biggest entry the competition has ever seen.

It is now in its 30th year but has not been held since 2019 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
