You Won't Believe The Price For Royal Enfield's First EV Motorcycle

On April 10, 2026, the first-ever dedicated Royal Enfield Flying Flea showroom will begin taking preorders for the brand's first-ever EV motorbike, the Flying Flea C6. The store is located in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and while it's the first EV store location, it's a pretty safe bet that it won't be the last.

Especially not now that pricing information is officially available. If you're in India, and you have the chance to put down money to purchase one of these bikes for your very own, it'll set you back ₹2.79 lakh rupees (ex-showroom) to own outright. For those unfamiliar, a lakh is 100,000, so that's 279,000 rupees.

A direct conversion to US dollars (at the time of writing; remember, currency conversions fluctuate all the time) puts that introductory price at around US $3,020. To clarify, Royal Enfield has NOT announced pricing for the Flying Flea C6 in any markets outside of India just yet, and they will almost certainly be different once it does. The information related in this post ONLY applies to initial pricing and release in India, and is not applicable elsewhere (though it will of course lead to both contemplation and speculation about how it will be priced overseas).

But wait, there's more! The company will be offering an additional option, where you subscribe to the battery-as-a-service (BaaS). Full details on the terms of the agreement that you'd have to sign haven't been made public yet, but this program knocks the price down to ₹1.99 lakh instead, or about US $2,154.

Keep in mind, it's not clear what the subscription price for the BaaS program is, so that would presumably be an additional ongoing cost to consider, as well. Though for anyone who's worried about what happens when their battery eventually goes too flat to reliably charge anymore, this might be a pretty compelling option if you're thinking about potential long-term ownership issues.

Tell us what you think!

The Flying Flea C6 is expected to roll into customer hands toward the end of May 2026, through that first dealership in Bengaluru, India. It will be available in two colors to start: Flea Green, which is the one seen in all the promotional materials, or Storm Black.

Are you excited to see this little guy finally make its way into the world? I know I am, even if I also know that it's going to take some time to get to my area of the world. I always want to see more interesting vehicles on the road, even if I'm not the one riding or driving them. But let us know what you think about it in the comments below, at your leisure.
