One of the new additions to the Arizona Cardinals this offseason was receiver A.J. Green. They believe the seven-time Pro Bowler has a lot left in the tank.
But aside from the football aspect, you might be awed by one off-the-field fact about Green.
He revealed this tidbit on an interview for “On the Fly” with Lisa Matthews, on the team’s YouTube page.
“I’m a big fashion guy, so I spend most of my money on shoes,” he said. “I have a shoe room in my house, like a whole vault of like1,500 pairs of shoes.”
Yes, he has a vault full of shoes.
He believes he will fit in with the fashion-forward group of receivers on the team.
How long as he been collecting shoes?
“I’ve been collecting shoes since I was in high school. I’ve been a sneakerhead since Day 1,” he explained.
Considering he has earned more than $108 million in his career, he certainly has the means to have quite the collection.
