A flight attendant for British Airways has shared her technique to make sure she never forgets her passport when she checks out of a hotel.
According to Ty Opoku Adjei, you won't leave without your passport if you place something you couldn’t actually leave without alongside your passport - such as one of your shoes.
She also revealed that passports left in the safe of a hotel room are a more common occurrence than people realise, the Mirror reports.
"My top tip is to keep one of your shoes you plan to wear on your journey home in the safe," she shared her tip with Business Insider.
"If you do this, you'll never leave the hotel room without checking the safe ever again...as long as you don’t forget where you put your shoe, of course!"
