You've likely already heard of Icon glassware, or if you haven't heard of it, you definitely will have seen it. And it's Anthropologie who is known for the best collection of these cutesy glasses, which feature floating 'icons' in all kinds of weird and wonderful shapes; the recent fall drop features corn, pretzels, and pumpkin pie, just to name a few.
But I have just discovered that there's more to the Icon collection at Anthropologie and that this charming glassware has inspired some equally charming throw pillows that are perfect for adding a touch of autumn to your home once Labor Day Weekend is over and we can all get excited about making our homes cozier with fall decor.
You can see the resemblance, right? Whimsical shapes that nod to the change in seasons sit against a very on-trend and very apt for fall backdrop of pincord. They are also all on offer right now in the Anthropologie Labor Day sale, so you can save over $25. I will take all three, please.
As a neutrals lover, this is my favorite of the three designs. It's classic fall but not overly cliché, just how I like to do my seasonal decor. I will be styling this on my bed with some gingham sheets (like these Organic Cotton Sateen Printed Sheet Set by Maeve) and a cozy throw for a comforting, layered look.
A deep navy is such an underrated fall color, and it pairs (pardon the pun) so well with the warm shades you usually associate with autumn. Layer with some deep velvet orange throw pillows and pick up on those hints of pink with a chunky throw (this throw is the perfect tone), for a quick and easy autumn upgrade to your bed or couch.
Pink for fall? That is actually quite ground-breaking. But I don't hate it, and the cute acorns put this very much back into autumn. I think this could actually work beautifully in a fall scheme; you could pair it with some layered brown tones to soften the pink but keep things playful.
During my hunt for more Icon-inspired homeware, I found there were even more pieces hiding on Anthropologie. All are just as cute as the glassware, but will get more stage time in your home.
The Iconic bow glasses are some of my favorites of the range, and they just brought out a new design that's gone straight into my cart. So I was thrilled to see they have a blanket version with adorable crocheted bows, and it's 100% cotton, so extra soft.
The cherry Icon glass is just that, iconic, and a permanent design in the collection. So, of course, it makes sense that it also exists in blanket form. I think this would be a lovely addition to a children's bedroom paired with red striped sheets.
The details on this throw pillow make it such a charming, quality piece. The slight texture of the embroidered cherries, the contrast of the deep green piping, and the perfect pale sky blue. And there's a bow version too!
