'You've got yourselves a gem!' - Aston Villa fans bid farewell to new Nottingham Forest signing Albert Adomah

Nottingham Forest this morning announced their sixth signing of the summer as they completed the capture of free agent Albert Adomah.

The 31-year-old left Aston Villa on July 1 after spending three years at Villa Park.

In 116 league outings, the wide man scored 22 goals and in his final season he helped steer the club to promotion to the Premier League, playing a vital part in their Wembley play-off final victory over Derby in May.

'Uncle Albert' was certainly a favourite among Holte End fans, loved for his positive attitude, hard work and celebratory dance moves that he brought out more than just a few times during his stay in Birmingham.

The Ghanaian international could make his debut for the Reds this weekend as Sabri Lamouchi's side head to Greece for a second pre-season tour.

And it's safe to say that Villa supporters are sad to see him go.
