You've been using ice cube bags wrong - and correct way will blow your mind

A video of a woman removing ice from an ice cube bag has gone viral after people stumbled upon her interesting trick.

In the 30 second clip, the unidentified woman blows people's minds as she expertly shows us all that we've been using the handy little freezer bags wrong for years.

Instead of carefully prising each individual ice cube out from the bag, the woman manages to get all of the ice cubes out at once.

The clever footage was posted on social media by NETfixe, where it has been amassed over six million views, 66,000 shares, more than 22,000 comments and 9,900 likes.

To remove the ice, the woman simply stretches the bag horizontally and vertically.

This action opens up the segments and transforms the bag into a sack, so all the ice cubes fall into the bottom.

The woman is then able to pour the ice out, or easily grab however many cubes she requires.

Many people were stunned to discover this quick and easy technique for removing ice and praised the Facebook page for sharing the video.

One person said: "OMG this must be the best Christmas gift this year. I've been freezing my fingers off for years!"

"Brilliant, I wish I had known that before," replied someone ese.

A third wrote: "I've been doing that wrong for years... need to buy some more ice cube bags!"

"Aww ffs, I tear these out one by one and almost half ends up on the floor. My day is made," added a fourth.

However a different user stated that this isn't really new information as "it tells you on the box" to do it this way.

Others were eager to point out that this method is only useful if you intended to use all of the ice in one go.

They explained: "We have not been doing it wrong, putting them all together is wrong unless you plan to use them all straight away.

"If you put them back in the freezer like that they will freeze together and also gather frost, the bag keeps them separate for that reason."

Regardless of this, it's certainly something to store away for future reference - you never know when these sort of tips and tricks might come in handy!
