Netflix's You star Penn Badgley is expecting his first child with wife Domino Kirke after the pair suffered two heartbreaking miscarriages.
Dimono, 36, shared the delightful news on Instagram on Monday when she posted a snap of her baby bump from above.
She penned: "On the road again... pregnancy after loss is whole other thing.
"After two miscarriages in a row we were ready to call it. I stopped trusting my body and started to accept the fact that I was done."
Domino, who is known for her music career, is also a doula and even co-founded the doula business collective Carriage House Birth.
She continued: "As a birth attendant, I've seen and heard it all. It takes everything I’ve got to detach lovingly from the losses I've been present for and be in my own experience."
Domino is also a mum to 10-year-old son Cassius, whom she gave birth to in 2009 with ex Morgan O'Kane.
The expecting mum said: "When I was pregnant at 25, I knew nothing. I had no community. I dove in blissfully unaware about birth and its mysteries."
She added: "Now, with 10 years worth of experience to pull from, I treasure my birth community and the knowledge I have. You’re already teaching us how to stay in the day in a way we've never had to, little one. Thank you."
This is the first biological child for Penn, 33, who is stepfather to Domino’s son from a previous relationship.
