Netflix have announced that You will be back on screens in October.
The third season of the popular psychological thriller will be available to watch on October 15, 2021.
After the second series was left on a bit of a cliff hanger, fans have been wondering what's next for serial killer Joe Goldberg, who is played by Penn Badgley, and if his various obsessions with women in his life will continue.
The last time we seen Joe, it appeared that he was attempting to settle down with pregnant girlfriend Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), who he recently discovered is a murderer herself.
Fans were left gasping as in the final few seconds of season two, Joe appeared to find a new obsession in his mysterious new neighbour.
But now, fans were given an insight into what to expect in the new series as a trailer was released.
The trailer was captioned on Twitter by Netflix : “Whoever said raising a child would be a piece of cake? YOU S3 is coming October 15.”
In the clip, Joe’s narration says: “People these days will name their kids anything to get attention.
“Despite your mother’s background and your Glamma’s determination to refer to you as Forty reincarnated, I know better.”
He goes on to say: “A boy is not what we expected and I would be lying if I said the thought of a mini-me was purely exciting and not without…challenges.
“Let’s just say I’m hoping you’ll do as I say and not as I do.
“But for you, I can change, I’ll be a man you look up to.
“A man you’ll be proud to call Dad”
Joe then is heard debating his baby’s name as he is seen preparing a cake.
He goes on: “So, what to call you? A name that’s strong but not intimidating. Classic but not basic. Literary, of course, because you’ll grow up in a house full of books.
“Henry, choosing your name is the first of a lifetime of decisions I’ll make to give you the best life possible to protect you, to shape who you will become.
“Who are you going to be, Henry?”
The cake is then shown to say ‘Welcome Baby Henry’.
The final shot then confirmed the return date in October.
In addition to Badgley and Pedretti returning, Saffron Burrows is back as Love’s manipulative mother, Dottie.
New cast members this season include Shalita Grant as influencer Sherry, Travis Van Winkle as supplement entrepreneur Cary, Tati Gabrielle as a no-nonsense young mother and a librarian, and Dylan Arnold as college student Theo.
Elsewhere, One Tree Hill actress Michaela McManus has been cast in the recurring role of Joe’s new obsession and neighbour, Natalie, who lives a secret life.
