You season 2 is now on Netflix and viewers are losing their minds at it

It's hard to believe it's been a year since the world was first creeped out by seemingly innocent but undeniably evil bookstore manager Joe and now season 2 of You has got viewers losing their minds all over again.

The second season of the intense stalker thriller dropped on Netflix on Boxing Day and many fans of the first season cancelled all plans on Thursday and got straight down to binge watching it.

The new run of episodes sees Joe head to Los Angeles in a bid to escape his life in New York and pretends to be a man named Will Bettelheim.

He soon meets new love interest called Love Quinn in LA but his fresh start is threatened when his former girlfriend Candace (Ambyr Childers) follows him across the country with dramatic consequences.

Rest assured, we won't be giving away any spoilers here, but you might want to steer clear of Twitter to avoid any. That said, Twitter is also full of people who can't get over the fact that a. You is back and 2. Joe is perhaps even more creepy this time round!

One fan of the Netflix drama who got quickly caught up in all the drama, reacted "THEY HAVE F****** OUT DONE THEMSELVES BC WTF" Another tweeted "Not even 15 mins in season 2 and Joe is already doing what he does best."

Also, responding to what they've seen from season 2 so far, a third avid viewer "You can bet your a** the first thing i did this morning as soon as i woke up was turn on Netflix and start watching the new season of You."

And those who haven't yet seen it or desperate to and livid that others things, like work, are getting in the way of them doing so. One ranted "Why did I make plans today, knowing that @YouNetflix Season 2 came out today!? Now I have to go be social while my heart wants to be in bed, binging season 2!"
