Some Tottenham Hotspur supporters are sending the same message to Ryan Mason following his departure as interim manager.
Mason took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to say his goodbyes as Spurs continue to look for a new permanent boss.
The 29-year-old tweeted: "Enjoyed leading the team the last few weeks I couldn’t have asked for more from the group of players and we always felt the fans behind us.
"Thankyou for your support."
The former Spurs midfielder took over the club following Jose Mourinho's sacking last month and guided his team to four wins from seven matches in all competitions.
Despite missing out on Champions League football for next season - which was a tall order for Mason given what he inherited - the Spurs supporters are very grateful for what he did in his short spell as boss in N17.
football.london understands that Spurs have decided on their top candidate for the permanent manager job that was vacated following Mourinho 's departure in April.
However, it may prove a difficult task for Daniel Levy, with the unnamed person currently in a job elsewhere.
Plenty of names have been linked with the empty seat in the dugout at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, including Brendan Rodgers, Graham Potter and Roberto Martinez.
With the searching for a new manager going on behind the scenes, Mason also had to deal with the constant transfer rumours regarding Harry Kane.
Kane spoke recently to Gary Neville, where he more than flirted with the prospect of leaving Spurs - leaving Mason to contend with countless questions about his star striker and where his future may be in press conferences.
