'You must go!' - Manchester United fans send clear message to Solskjaer after Watford hammering

Manchester United supporters have taken to social media to call for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be sacked following the Reds' embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Watford at Vicarage Road this afternoon.

Goals from Josh King, Ismaila Sarr, Joao Pedro and Emmanuel Dennis wrapped up just a second home win of the season for the Hornets, who had two first-half penalties saved by David de Gea, inflicting a fifth defeat in seven league games on United, who did threaten to get themselves back into the contest when substitute Donny van de Beek made it 2-1 just five minutes into the second half.

But United, following the sending-off of captain Harry Maguire for a second bookable offence, were unable to mount a recovery, with Claudio Ranieri's side making the points safe with injury-time goals from Pedro and Dennis.

United are now eighth in the table, 12 points behind current table-toppers Chelsea and five points behind Liverpool in fourth, but that gap could become eight points if they beat Arsenal in the late kick-off.

Although United's hierarchy have already decided that a change in manager is required, they may now be forced to speed up the process following a third defeat in four games.

Unsurprisingly, a poor result in Hertfordshire has resulted in United's supporters pleading with the club to sack Solskjaer now.

Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what some supporters have had to say following the full-time whistle.

These have reached the end of their tethers and are desperate for a change to be made sooner rather than later, with United's current woes showing no signs of ending anytime soon.
