A Strathaven funnyman has gone viral - after he was snapped riding a unicorn.
Comedian Gary Faulds was photographed on the fabled animal for a fast food delivery ad.
His hilarious social media post notched up more than 4000 likes in just a few hours.
Terrified Gary later confessed that he had never ridden a horse in his life.
He wrote: “Well, now you can all say ‘I’ve seen Gary Faulds ride a unicorn’. What a day, man. Cheers Scoffable, you made a fat princess's dream come true.”
In January, bighearted Gary - dubbed the new Kevin Bridges - put on a special gig for Scottish soldiers on duty in Cyprus.
He wanted to entertain the Scots Guards in the UN buffer zone deployed on peacekeeping duties.
Former soldier Gary, who served in the Army Air Corps, said the gig was a labour of love and a way of giving back to the troops.
The father-of-five said: "The unicorn shoot was a great laugh. They phoned me a few weeks ago asking: ‘Can you ride a horse? And I was like aye no bother despite never having ridden a horse in my life.
"I then turned up and saw this seven feet tall monster with a big cone on its head. My backside nearly collapsed - it took two guys to push me up on it."
The post was applauded by his fans on social media. Darren McMillan wrote: "Robin Hood’s Scottish brother Robin Food lol."
