'You love to see it!' - Arsenal and Chelsea fans mock Spurs over Olivier Giroud

Olivier Giroud is the talkk of Chelsea and Arsenal fans this lunchtime after netting the opening goal of the game between the Blues and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Frenchman fired Frank Lampard's side in front at Stamford Bridge, having been handed his first start for the Blues since November.

This comes after Giroud was strongly linked with a move to Tottenham in the January transfer window, with Inter Milan and Newcastle also both linked with the World Cup winner.

But with Chelsea unable to sign a replacement, Giroud stayed put in west London, with the former Arsenal striker coming off the bench in the 2-0 defeat against Manchester United on Monday.

Chelsea v Tottenham: Frank Lampard press conference

And now, he has made Spurs rue their failure to sign him in January with a goal against Jose Mourinho's men, much to the delight of Chelsea and Arsenal fans.

Here's what they have been saying on social media.

This was only Giroud's second goal for Chelsea this season, having found his opportunities limited under Lampard.

Prior to today's game, the Frenchman had only featured in eight games for Chelsea this season, with Tammy Abraham preferred up front by Lampard, with Michy Batshuayi also competing for a place up top.

Giroud has, however, been praised by Lampard for his professionalism amid a frustrating season so far.
