A touching video shows Penicuik Fire Station paying their respects to colleague Kane McGinley who died suddenly in Midlothian.
In a video shared by the fire station online, firefighters play You'll Never Walk Alone in tribute to the Celtic daft 25- year old who passed away last week.
Emergency services were called to River North Esk at Beeslack on 24 April after reports of a body in the water. His death is being treated as non-suspicious.
The video was shared online by a colleague who said: "Paying our respect to firefighter Kane McGinley tonight.
"A truly amazing friend and colleague, from all at Penicuik Fire Station and the SFRS family you will be hugely missed. Rest in peace brother."
In the video, firefighters play Celtic anthem, You'll Never Walk Alone before starting an applause.
Penicuik locals were incredibly moved by the tribute, with one saying: "Just watched the video, very emotional. Many, many thanks to all of you for looking after us."
Another said: "It was an honour to have served with you."
A third said:" Beautiful tribute for this very popular young man."
