'You have to be kidding me!' - Spurs fans fume over player's absence from team vs Bayern Munich

Dele Alli is back in the Tottenham starting XI for this evening's Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

The midfielder has only made three appearances so far this campaign after picking up a hamstring injury during pre-season.

Alli comes back into the team in place of Christian Eriksen in the only change from Saturday's much-needed 2-1 victory over Southampton.

Another victory would go down extremely well in north London after the club's struggles in the group stage 12 months ago as they failed to win their opening three games.

While they did progress and eventually reach the showpiece finale against Liverpool, it is a situation Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to avoid again.

However, it certainly won't be easy with Bayern Munich the visitors to N17.

Niko Kovac's team have had a decent start to the season as they currently top both the Bundesliga and their Champions League group, with star striker Robert Lewandowski scoring goals for fun.

The Spurs starting XI has certainly divided the opinion of a number of fans with Lucas Moura named on the bench once again.

The Brazilian has been in and out of the team so far this term and plenty of fans are keen to see him get an extended run in the team.
