Optical illusions are cleverly created into forcing our brains to think outside of the box and test our knowledge and creativity.
A newly surfaced illusion has left people scratching their heads as they try to solve the tricky puzzle.
Allegedly only those with hawk-like eyes can easily spot the odd number hidden somewhere within the photograph before the time runs out.
The task is simple - you must spot the number 218 hiding amongst the 278s in as little as 15 seconds.
While it may seem relatively straightforward at first, the illusion is more difficult than you think as the numbers one and number seven are relatively similar in appearance.
