Friends and family of a 16-year-old boy who died in a crash on the Western Downs have paid tribute to the soon-to-be father of twins who "had so much to live for".
Brock Daniel, from Bundaberg, was a passenger in a car travelling on Dalby Cecil Plains Road around 10:30pm Monday night when it left the road and rolled several times.
He died at the scene.
The driver, an 18-year-old woman, and two passengers, a 19-year-old man and 16-year-old girl, were also involved in the crash.
The two women were taken to the Dalby Hospital in stable conditions, with injuries to their neck, back and stomach, while the 19-year-old man declined transport to hospital.
Mr Daniel's uncle, Dallas Bamberry, wrote on social media that he was "crushed" by the tragedy.
"I just wanted this to be a bad dream. My baby nephew my heart breaks for you," he said.
"You had so much to live for."
'He was going to be a good dad'
Mr Bamberry said Mr Daniel, who has a twin brother, was about to become a father to his own twins.
"He was adamant about becoming a dad, and he knew he was going to be a good one, we all did," he said.
Friends expressed their grief through social media tributes.
"You were the funnest person I've met brother … and when it came to it you always helped everyone," Trigg Sutton said.
Tori Holmes said Mr Daniel was "special" and his death was "not fair".
"Your smile brightened my day, I'm so lucky to have met you and have had the connection with you that I did," she said.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
