Manchester United supporters are urging Donny van de Beek to show his true colours this Premier League season.
The 24-year-old signed for United in a £35million transfer last summer.
However, the talented Dutchman, who graduated from the famed Ajax production line, was unable to make much of an impact during his debut campaign.
Van de Beek was limited to just four Premier League starts and went on to miss Euro 2020 through injury.
As he continues his road to recovery, and redemption, the United playmaker was handed the captain's armband by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the closing stages of the midweek friendly vs Brentford.
It was a notable gesture from a manager who has yet to put his full faith in Van de Beek.
However, after posting an image of United's striking new away shirt on his Instagram profile, supporters are hoping it's a sign of things to come.
