It was a case of life imitating art when West Lothian band Mark Sharp and the Bicycle Thieves reported the theft of guitarist Cammy McKay's bike.
In a 'you couldn't make it up' moment, the band took to social media to report the theft of the bicycle.
In a post calling themselves 'Mark Sharp & the Bicycle Victims' the boys appealed for the safe return of the bike.
It said: "Well you couldn’t make this up… we’ve tasted our own medicine and it is bitter!!
"Unfortunately one of The Bicycle Thieves has had their bicycle stolen.
"Cammy’s bike was taken from Bathgate Train Station on Monday - It looks very similar to the photo attached.
"If anyone can help us with information to find the bike and have it safely returned to the wee fella then we’ll sort guestlist for upcoming shows and free merch as a thank you - please share."
