You could earn £15-an-hour to eat cakes and puddings for a chocolate manufacturer

From cheesecakes to melt-in-the-middle sponge puddings, chocolate desserts are a firm favourite for many.

And if you're particularly passionate about sweet treats, you could bag this dream job and be paid £15-an-hour to indulge in desserts.

Pots & Co, the company behind a number of high street chocolate brands is looking for a taste tester to trial new puddings.

The vacancy, posted on LinkedIn, will give one winning candidate the opportunity to bag a three month job for the supplier which manufactures puddings like Salted Caramel & Chocolate Ganache for major UK supermarkets, MirrorOnline reports.

According to the job specification, the successful candidate "will ideally be someone who probably decides their pudding before their main, has a secret sweet treat stash hidden away at all times and an eagerness to try all flavours of their range and give honest feedback."

The newly appointed pudding taster will work remotely, once a month for three months, on a wage of £15 an hour.

Paras Arora, brand manager at Pots & Co. said "As the last thing we eat during a meal, puddings are definitely something to be savoured.

"That’s why we put such care into the choice of ingredients and recipes for our pots.

"We wanted to open up that process to someone who loves puddings to help us remain the best premium pudding brand in your local supermarket."

To apply applicants need to tell the company in no more than 150 words what puddings mean to them.

This should be sent in an email to jobs@potsandco.com, or posted on LinkedIn with the hastag #sweetestjob.

The job advert also warns that some of the products will contain gluten, nuts and dairy, so the role may not be suitable for for people with certain dietary requirements.
