Merseyside was placed under a strict new local lockdown on Thursday, with a variety of measures coming in to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
Cases in Liverpool are rocketing, with Health Secretary Matt Hancock saying the city had a case rate of 268 per 100,000 people, one of the highest in the UK.
To help stem the virus the city has been subjected to harsher rules around social distancing.
From 00:01am on Saturday, people in our region will not be allowed to mix with other households in any indoor setting.
This mixing was already banned for private homes and gardens, but now this has been extended to all indoor settings, including pubs, bars and restaurants.
So you can only now mix indoors with your own household or the people in your support bubble.
You cannot go for a meal or a drink indoors with someone you don't live with (or who isn't in your bubble) in a pub, restaurant or cafe.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock also said it is recommended that people do not attend professional or amateur sporting events as spectators.

He said it is recommended that people only visit care homes in exceptional circumstances, and there will be guidance against all but essential travel.
What happens if I break the rules?
If you break these rules you could be dispersed by the police.
If you are over 18 you could be fined and face a £200 charge if it is your first offence.
Second offences would incur a £400 fine, which would then double for each subsequent offence up to a maximum of £6,400.
