You can visit 'Unicorn Land' under two hours from Edinburgh this July

So-called "Unicorn Land" is set to be one of the most magical events taking place this summer.

Organised by Unicorn Dream, this will be their first UK tour and gives kids the chance to get up close with "real unicorns".

The experience will allow them to find out how unicorns live, groom these mystical creatures and even ride them - with the helping hand of "fairies".

If that's not already enough, there will also be bouncy castles, races, face painting, fancy dress, special shows and quizzes, making it the perfect family day out.

While the tour is not coming to Edinburgh, Unicorn Land is stopping off in Newcastle with dates in July from 13-14 and later from August 24-26 from 10am to 6pm.

The train to Newcastle will take under two hours or just over two hours by car - we think it will be worth the journey for unicorn lovers.

Tickets cost between £37-£99 and can be booked from Unicorn Dream website here.
