You can try out 'Gin and Yin' yoga classes at this festival in Edinburgh next month

Nothing spells relaxation quite like finding your zen in yoga - topped off with a tasty gin - does it?

If this sounds like your kind of exercise, you can head down to the Big Big Gin Festival next month.

The organisers have unveiled plans for a series of "Gin and Yin" yoga sessions to ensure festival-goers leave feeling totally refreshed.

Led by expert yoga instructor, Syra Fleetwood, visitors will raise a glass and a leg - hopefully not at the same time - practicing restorative yin yoga moves while sampling crafted gin.

Suitable for beginners and experienced yogis alike, Syra explains "Gin and Yin at the Big Big Gin Festival will be a fun experience, but also a deeply nourishing practice that will leave you feeling calm and grounded".

As well as sampling gin throughout the class, participants will finish up with a gin cocktail at the end of the session - because why not?

And that’s not all, gin-lovers can try out a range of masterclasses and meet the makers at the festival. There will also be food, live music, face-painting, a selfie wall and even a photobooth.

The Big Big Gin Festival will take place on 12-13 October at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange.

Gin and Yin yoga sessions will take place between 12-1:30pm and 7-8:30pm on Saturday, and 12-1:30pm on Sunday. Tickets cost £30 and can be bought here.

You can upgrade to £40.00 tickets to get access to the actual Big Big Gin Festival after the session.
