For many people in Edinburgh the word Airbnb makes you think of New Town flats, party palaces, even key boxes - but a giant potato?
This six-ton spud is not modern art, it is an Airbnb that you can book for a stay in the American state of Idaho.
This tattie was originally a marketing tool for the Idaho Potato Commission but has since been transformed into a mini hotel after six years of touring on the back of a truck.
The potato is 336 square feet of steel, plaster and concrete and is said to be surrounded by breathtaking views of the Owyhee Mountains.
As if you weren't shocked enough, the inside of the potato is equally as surprising, with a chic interior giving it the feel of a cosy hideaway.
It looks like something straight out of Pinterest, furnished with pink chairs, a quirky antler light and a number of house plants.
There is also a double bed, mini bar and sink but no kitchen. However guests are assured there is a silo services nearby.
While it's no five star suite, it could make the perfect quirky alternative to a camping trip if you ever find yourself vacationing in the area.
